We are seeking a skilled Disability Assessor to join our team at Maximus. This part-time opportunity requires a strong clinical background, with at least 1 year of experience in adult or mental health settings. Your NMC registration number is essential for this role.

About the Assessment Process

You will conduct assessments with clients using various methods, including telephone, video, or face-to-face interviews. Your expertise will be crucial in understanding how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

Your reports will support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining an individual's eligibility for benefits. With regular feedback and supervision, your clinical knowledge and assessment skills will continually develop.

Key Requirements
  • A valid NMC registration number
  • At least 1 year of post-registration adult or mental health experience
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with computer software and report production
