Chemotherapy Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemotherapy Nurse Specialist to join our team at the NGS Macmillan Unit, Chesterfield Royal Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver systemic anti-cancer treatments in line with national and local guidance.
- Provide specialist clinical practice within a defined clinical area/caseload in a patient-centred, clinical and effective way.
- Work independently with support/guidance from the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) as required.
- Continuing responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.
- Collaborate with other health and social professionals to ensure seamless care pathways.

Person Specification- 1st level RGN
- 1st level degree or equivalent experience
- Speciality related course at degree level
- Mentor/assessor course
- Completed UKONS SACT passport
