About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team in Retford, working nights in a modern residential care setting.

As a Care Support Specialist, you will provide bespoke support for residents with various mental health conditions and learning disabilities, promoting their physical and mental wellbeing.

Responsibilities
  • Assist service users with daily life and personal care
  • Support physical and mental wellbeing through engaging activities and providing company and emotional support
  • Work collaboratively with existing staff to ensure high-quality care provision
Requirements
  • Referenceable work history
  • Mandatory training certificates (moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults, infection control)
  • Enhanced DBS certificate dated within 12 months or registered on the update service
  • Minimum 3 months paid UK work experience in a mental health-supported-living service
Benefits
  • Paid hours available Monday to Sunday
  • Competitive hourly rate: £11.50 per hour (days), £12.75 per hour (nights)
