Job Title: Application Support Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Team Leader to join our team at Venn Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a small team of application and systems engineers, ensuring their performance aligns with organizational SLAs and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of application and systems engineers, ensuring their performance meets organizational expectations.
  • Provide 3rd line support for business applications, addressing and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborate closely with the finance team to support the existing finance application and assist with migration to a Microsoft Dynamics platform.
  • Run SQL scripts and queries to support application maintenance and development.
  • Handle key HR responsibilities, including staff management, performance appraisals, and onboarding of new team members.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • 3rd line applications support experience.
  • SQL proficiency for scripting and reporting.
  • SharePoint administration and setup experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Management or leadership experience is not mandatory, but you will oversee a small team of two staff members.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices (v3 or v4).
  • Proven experience in using Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, Azure, and Windows.
