As a Commercial Vehicle Sales Leader with The Growth Consultants, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and market expansion within the commercial vehicles industry. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing sales team, build strong relationships with key clients and partners, and contribute to the senior leadership team.

The Sales Manager will develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion. They will lead, coach, expand, and motivate a high-performing sales team, set clear performance expectations, monitor team progress, and provide ongoing feedback to drive results.

You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing client accounts, ensuring processes and procedures are adhered to. As a leader in the function, you'll empower, grow, and mentor your team to meet targets and drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, expand, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and prepare accurate forecasts.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring a continuous flow of leads and opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, aftersales, and customer support teams to ensure alignment between sales objectives and overall business goals.
  • Sales Training & Development: Identify skill gaps within the team and provide relevant training or development.

  • Proven track record in commercial vehicle sales or leasing.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels.
  • Data-driven decision-making with the ability to analyse sales metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Strong understanding of CRM tools and sales pipeline management.
  • A Full UK Driving licence.
