About the Role:

The Senior Risk Officer will report to the Head of Enterprise Risk Management and will support the effective running of the risk management department, including the management of deadlines and forward planning for a strong risk identification, assessment and reporting process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage direct reports and perform regular performance reviews
  • Provide training throughout the business and share best practice with regards to all aspects of risk management
  • Assist the Head of Function in areas such as the development, implementation, administration and compliance with the company's risk framework and risk management processes and procedures
  • Support the planning and conducting of the quarterly risk and control self-assessment process
  • Conduct the ORSA process including the production of quarterly and annual reports
  • Develop and maintain the risk register, ensuring that it is up to date and holds risk data to the appropriate level of detail and is properly used within the business

Requirements:

  • Extensive professional experience
  • Education to a degree level or hold an equivalent/appropriate professional qualification
  • Highly developed knowledge of the risk exposures of the organisation
  • Experience in working within the London market
  • Solid knowledge of accounting and financial environments
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Discussion leading skills and problem solving skills
