Channel Development Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic salesperson to manage and grow our EMEA Office Based Sales (OBS) Channel business.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing, implementing and driving channel-based sales across the Middle East and Africa.

A strong understanding of EXFO's Test & Measurement product portfolio and the ability to communicate its value to channel partners is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing EXFO's relationships in key accounts through partners within the assigned territory.

The role will involve managing transactional opportunities from the Sales Channel and working closely with the Sales team to achieve business goals.

The ideal candidate will have a sufficient level of technical acumen, commercial awareness and sales experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a clearly defined commercial relationship with channel partners
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of EXFO's Test & Measurement product portfolio
  • Manage sales targets with channel contacts
  • Maintain accurate account and sales opportunity data in EXFO's CRM system
  • Provide a monthly forecast for active sales channel opportunities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a telecoms-related field or equivalent work experience
  • Strong technical understanding of Optical, Transport / Datacom and RF/Mobile networks
  • Leadership qualities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate channel partners
  • Knowledge of the channel partners' structure
