Job Title: Specialist Healthcare Practitioner for LD Patients

We are seeking a highly skilled healthcare practitioner to join our team at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide specialist healthcare services to adults with learning disabilities, including speech and language therapy.

About the Role:
  • Manage a specialist caseload of clients with complex learning disabilities, providing assessment, identification, and treatment of communication and swallowing needs.
  • Provide professional supervision to other staff/students as appropriate, including appraisal and professional development.
  • Contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of learning disability services.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Speech and Language Therapy, be registered with the RCSLT, and hold HCPC registration. Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and managing a caseload is essential.

Estimated salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum.
