We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acute Physician Specialist to join our team in the Department of Acute Medicine at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert clinical care to patients admitted to the Acute Assessment Unit (AAU), Short Stay Unit, and Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU). You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement clinical strategies that improve patient outcomes and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical care to patients admitted to the AAU, Short Stay Unit, and ACU
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and service quality
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Mentor and support junior doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Engage in regular appraisal and performance management

Requirements:

  • MRCP(UK) CCT and/or eligibility for inclusion on the Specialist Register of GMC Acute Medicine or specialist medicine with general medicine accreditation
  • MBBS (or equivalent)
  • Full GMC Registration and license to practice
