About the Job

As a Healthcare Support Professional at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with complex neurological problems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing visual and auditory support to assigned occupational therapists, including driving them between locations as needed;
  • Delivering rehabilitation support to patients with complex neurological problems, working within a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) setting;
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals across community services, primary care, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care;
  • Utilizing technology to manage caseloads, conduct virtual consultations, and maintain accurate records;
  • Assessing patient needs, planning interventions, and implementing exercise programs, adaptive equipment provision, and minor adaptations as necessary;
  • Maintaining timely documentation of patient contacts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations;

We offer a competitive salary of £24,907 - £30,615 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits, including pension scheme, annual leave, and training opportunities.

Requirements

  • RSA/OCR stage II - NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience;
  • Educated to minimum GCSE level or equivalent grade A-C, including English;
  • Experience of working in rehabilitation in health/social care environment at band 3 level or equivalent;
  • Experience of working with people with neurological problems;
