Job Overview

Central Medical Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ambulance Response Specialist to join our team. As an Emergency Medical Support Associate, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in emergency situations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a continuous duty of care to patients within the level of training and competency of this role. This includes maintaining an appropriate level of monitoring and treatment, as well as providing clear handover reports when handing patients over to other healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure patient safety and well-being through effective monitoring and treatment.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive handover reports to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Drive approved ambulance vehicles under normal and blue light circumstances, adhering to service standards and road traffic laws.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure readiness and safety.
  • Maintain competence in operating medical and life support equipment.
  • Assist qualified practitioners in using equipment as directed.
  • Comply with scene safety checks and risk assessments, working with other healthcare staff.
  • Support qualified practitioners in providing high-quality care.
  • Gather relevant information from carers or others at the scene, reporting as required.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Salary and Benefits

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
