Occupational Therapist - Complex Needs
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team, providing high-quality services for individuals with complex needs. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with service users, their families, and other professionals to deliver person-centered care.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have a BSc/MSc/PG Dip in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration, and experience working with individuals with mental health challenges and learning disabilities. You will also possess excellent communication skills, ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, and knowledge of current best practice in OT and mental health.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for individuals with complex needs.
- Offer clinical advice and support for individuals with challenging behavior and mental health needs.
- Support individuals during hospital admissions through focused assessment, intervention, and support.
- Facilitate safe discharge from hospital back into the community.
The salary for this role is £43,041 - £58,452 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave.
