About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our Area Store team at Marks and Spencer. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer experience.
  • Lead and manage a team of Store Managers to achieve business objectives, improve operational efficiency, and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Collaborate with Regional Leadership and Support Centre to drive business transformation, implement change initiatives, and ensure seamless execution of company-wide programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and operational metrics to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of Store Managers and their teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in a retail leadership role, with a strong understanding of commercial, visual, operational, and people processes.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business results.
