About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Store Manager to join our team at Marks and Spencer. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our stores and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing management team to deliver excellent customer service and key performance indicators (KPIs) across the store.
- Develop and implement commercial, visual, operational, and people strategies to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to drive business results.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and external partners.
- Ensure the store is operating safely and legally, and that all colleagues are aware of their responsibilities and accountabilities.
- Drive operational excellence to maximize product availability, minimize stock and cash loss, and maintain a safe and legal store environment.
Requirements
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering business results in a retail environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyze data to inform business decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels.
