About the Role:

Marks & Spencer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our store teams and drive business growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales and profitability, and implementing business strategies to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Develop Store Teams: You will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing store team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent customer service and achieve business objectives.
  • Drive Sales and Profitability: You will be responsible for driving sales and profitability through effective inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Implement Business Strategies: You will work closely with the regional leadership team to implement business strategies and initiatives that drive growth and improve customer experience.
  • Manage Store Operations: You will be responsible for managing store operations, including stock management, cash handling, and customer service.
  • Embed Change and Innovation: You will be responsible for embedding change and innovation within the store, driving cultural transformation, and ensuring that all team members are aligned with the company's vision and values.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: You will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.
  • Commercial and Operational Expertise: You will have a deep understanding of commercial and operational processes and systems, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Customer Focus: You will have a strong customer focus and be able to drive customer-centric initiatives that improve customer experience and drive sales and profitability.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
