About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Place2Be. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the clinical delivery of our services within schools, working closely with our counsellors and supporting them in delivering interventions across all year groups.

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for assessment and formulation of referrals, as well as overseeing the work of our Counsellors on Placement. You will also deliver some therapeutic work with children, including group and whole-class work.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in therapy and counselling, with experience in a supervisory role. They will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a passion for improving the mental health outcomes of children and young people.

About You

We welcome applications from experienced therapists/counsellors who are looking to take their careers to the next level. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will need to be a qualified therapist with at least 1 year's experience in the profession. You will also need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills.

You will be based in Edinburgh, working across three schools: The Mary Erskine School, The Mary Erskine and Stewart's Melville Junior School, and Stewart's Melville College.
