About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers and stakeholders, ensuring that their complaints are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide best-in-class customer service to customers and stakeholders, responding to complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assess and triage customer complaints, identifying the root cause of the issue and implementing a resolution.
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure that customer complaints are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our company's policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements related to complaints handling.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment, with a strong focus on complaint resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to complaints handling, including the Housing Ombudsman Complaint Handling Code and the Scottish Public Service Ombudsman Model Complaint Handling Procedures.
