About the Role

MacGregor Black is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to maximize profitable sales across our portfolio of brands and products.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through a proactive and strategic approach.
  • Sell multiple brands and products across various sectors, leveraging your expertise and industry knowledge to drive sales growth.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, consistently delivering high levels of performance and results.
  • Develop and implement effective sales plans, including area journey plans and monthly diaries, to maximize selling time with customers.
  • Ensure brand presentation information is up-to-date and current, reflecting the latest product offerings and market trends.
  • Analyze business reports to understand regional activity, challenges, and successes, making data-driven decisions to drive business growth.
  • Process all orders to the sales office, ensuring seamless and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Communicate effectively with internal business colleagues and external sales teams, fostering strong relationships and collaboration.
  • Adhere to business best practice protocols, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in selling multiple products across various sectors, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel and work remotely, with a full clean driving license.
  • Proven experience in account management and relationship development, with a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences.
  • Target-driven and able to work independently, with a high level of autonomy and self-motivation.
