Dundee, Dundee City, United Kingdom NHS Scotland Full time

NHS Scotland is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment, where every employee feels valued and empowered to contribute their best. To achieve this, we are seeking an experienced and adaptable Administrator to join our Perinatal Mental Health Team.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to clinical staff and team leaders, working closely with the Perinatal Mental Health Team, Maternity & Neonatal Psychology Service, and Infant Mental Health Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality services to women and birthing persons experiencing or at risk of severe mental illness during pregnancy and the postnatal period.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Implementing the integrated hub and spoke perinatal mental health team model to provide community-based support to women and birthing persons.
  • Working in partnership with the Maternity and Neonatal Psychology Service and Infant Mental Health Team to deliver comprehensive perinatal care.
  • Building effective relationships with other services involved in women and birthing persons' care, such as community mental health teams and third sector agencies.
  • Supporting specialist workforce training and development in perinatal and infant mental health.
  • Ensuring that the voices of those with lived experience and their families are central to service design, development, and delivery.
  • Capturing and utilizing feedback and data to inform shared learning and service improvement.
  • Ensuring that service provision meets national recommended guidelines for perinatal care.

We are looking for an individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, experience working in a demanding administrative role, and proficiency in Microsoft packages, including Excel. Previous experience with patient referral and appointment systems is desirable, as is the ability to manage databases.
