About the Role
Cygnet Health Care is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our team in Scotland. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the psychological care of clients within health and social care services across Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Regional Lead Psychologist in the delivery and evaluation of effective services that meet Cygnet Healthcare objectives, national strategic and policy guidelines, commissioner requirements, and user and carer needs and expectations.
- Administer, score, and report writing of psychometric assessments, standardised risk assessments, clinical formulation, and supervised individual and group interventions.
- Support the development of clinical skills and knowledge through training and supervision.
Requirements
- A good degree in Psychology and further postgraduate training in a relevant area of applied psychology and mental health.
- Previous experience of working within mental health services and settings is essential.
- Previous experience of working as an Assistant Psychologist and delivering 1:1 therapeutic work and/or group therapy sessions is desirable.
