About the Role

Churchill Estates Management Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Project Manager to join our Property Services Team in Ringwood. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful completion of property-related major works within Section 20 legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify key stages of each project and manage the programme of works, adopting sound project management principles.
  • Procure and manage professional working relationships with external works contractors and suppliers.
  • Maintain professional contact and communication through various project stages with Homeowners, Landlords, internal stakeholders, and contractors.
  • Act as a key point of contact between internal departments such as Administration, Property Services, Operations, and Finance.
  • Ensure sound financial management of the project and understanding contingency funds.
  • Highlight risks to the Head of Property, supporting to resolve any conflicts to ensure successful completion of each project.
  • Produce written reports using MS Excel, detailing progress to inform CEM Board reports.
  • Administration duties will be varied and include collating works specifications, tender administration, checking contractual information, serving of Section 20 notifications, Board reporting, processing of Purchase Orders, attending project meetings, and general office administration using MS Office applications.

We are looking for a self-assured, organised, methodical, and professional individual who can juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrating resilience to challenges and excellent attention to detail. You will be assertive in keeping up momentum and ensuring quality works from contractors. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to manage expectations at every touchpoint, including Board level. Proficiency in using MS Office applications, especially MS Excel, is required.
