About the Role:

As a Third Party Claims Team Manager at Carpenters Group, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of claims handlers. Your primary goal will be to ensure that claims are processed efficiently, within legal and regulatory frameworks, and with a focus on controlling indemnity spend and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee case management and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the team and lead by example.
  • Proactively manage performance, conduct, and absence issues in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Compile and supply required management information to evidence performance.
  • Identify talent and support the development of team members.
  • Ensure each claim is dealt with in line with client procedure and within service standards.
  • Handle complaints as allocated.
  • Drive your own development by actively seeking opportunities for growth and improvement.
