About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our dedicated compound team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the site on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and support Multi Skilled Operatives (MSOs) in ensuring vehicles are properly located and all movements align with company procedures.
  2. Guide and assist MSOs in conducting thorough checks to ensure all vehicles meet the company's quality standards.
  3. Provide primary point of contact and first line of support for your team, especially in the absence of the Supervisor and Manager.
  4. Direct, support, and motivate the team to enhance performance.
  5. Assist with operational requirements as defined by the shift supervisor, including evaluating workflows and optimizing staff utilization to maximize efficiency.
About You
  1. You must be over 25 years old and possess a valid driver's license with fewer than 6 penalty points.
  2. You must be able to work the specified shift times.
  3. The ideal candidate will be confident in their driving and have experience with automatic and manual vehicles.
  4. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and working experience within Automotive/Logistics/Distribution operations.
  5. The ideal candidate will have experience with computer systems and data recording.

This role operates outdoors in a large automotive compound facility, requiring moderate amounts of general walking throughout the working day.
