Job Title: Team Leader

RMS is collaborating with a prestigious automotive client to deliver exceptional vehicle services. We are seeking a skilled Team Leader to join our dedicated compound team.

About the Role:

The Team Leader will report to the Compound Manager and Shift Supervisor, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the site on a day-to-day basis. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting Multi Skilled Operatives (MSOs) in ensuring vehicles are properly located and movements align with company procedures.
  • Guiding and assisting MSOs in conducting thorough checks to ensure vehicles meet quality standards.
  • Ensuring MSOs adhere to health and safety standards throughout the site.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact and first line of support for the team, especially in the absence of the Supervisor and Manager.
  • Directing, supporting, and motivating the team to enhance performance.
  • Assisting with operational requirements as defined by the shift supervisor, including evaluating workflows and optimizing staff utilization to maximize efficiency.
Requirements:

To be successful, candidates must be over 25 years old, possess a valid driver's license with fewer than 6 penalty points, and have no DR10 offenses for insurance purposes. The ideal candidate will be confident in their driving, have experience with automatic and manual vehicles, and have previous experience as a Team Leader. Knowledge and working experience within Automotive/Logistics/Distribution operations are also essential.
