About the Role: As a Planned Investigation Unit Clerk, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the nursing staff in our Planned Investigation Unit. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and be proficient in using computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Bookings: Establish patient information, confirm appointments, and manage bookings process according to guidance and policy.
  2. Reception: Greet patients' relatives and visitors, issue wristbands, and maintain a welcoming environment.
  3. Notes: Request case notes, accurately trace documents, and send notes to coding in a timely manner.
  4. General: Answer telephones, maintain case notes, and assist new staff members with working arrangements and policies.

You will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality services to patients and their families.


Requirements:
  • Competent in using the iPM computer system
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate records
