We are a progressive level 3 unit providing 7 intensive care, 10 high dependency/special care, and 16 transitional care cots, serving the population of Devon and Cornwall. As a Band 5 Neonatal Staff Nurse, you will be an integral part of our dynamic nursing team, working closely with parents and carers to deliver individualized care plans that promote optimal health outcomes.

Your primary responsibilities will include demonstrating evidence-based practice, utilizing medical devices and specialist equipment, participating in clinical supervision, and liaising with multidisciplinary teams to provide family-centered care. You will also be responsible for identifying, managing, and referring infants requiring safeguarding assessments, as well as promoting health education within the clinical area. To excel in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of customer care in the clinical setting and be committed to continuous professional development.
