HR Assistant Job Description

Macildowie Recruitment and Retention is seeking a highly skilled and organized HR Assistant to join their team. As an HR Assistant, you will provide vital administrative support across various HR functions, ensuring smooth transitions and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR department, ensuring all tasks meet deadlines and high standards.
  • Provide full administrative support, including processing documentation, preparing reports, and maintaining colleague records.
  • Support recruitment efforts, including coordinating interviews, posting jobs, and managing documentation.
  • Respond to colleague queries and provide relevant information, ensuring excellent communication skills.
  • Manage internal reporting and company lists, meeting required deadlines.
  • Conduct monthly internal compliance audits, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Handle calls and manage internal and external queries, providing a positive and professional attitude.
  • Provide administrative support for the HR system, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Manage and respond to queries via the HR inbox, maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Collate data for company accreditations, government statistics, and audits, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Take notes in HR meetings, investigations, and other important events, across various UK sites.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent is desirable, demonstrating a strong foundation in HR principles.
  • Previous experience within Administration, showcasing organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, mail merge), ensuring efficient use of technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude.
  • A keen eye for detail and a quality-focused mindset, ensuring high standards in all tasks.
