Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations Delivery to lead our technology delivery team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our technology services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Delivery of Technology (30%):
    • Lead the delivery of technology services to meet business requirements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Service Acceptance/Readiness (30%):
    • Develop and implement service acceptance criteria.
    • Ensure all risks are owned and mitigated to meet requirements.
  • Managed Services Tendering (30%):
    • Lead the tendering process for managed services.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with partners.
  • Service Operations Strategy (10%):
    • Develop and implement service operations strategy.
    • Ensure interoperability across all services.
  • Continual Service Improvement (Embedded):
    • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
    • Drive improvements to remove waste continuously.

Requirements

  • Clear experience of technology domain with knowledge of technologies, frameworks, and standards.
  • Experience of managing service delivery in a multi-partner/vendor environment.
  • Experience of leading teams in the operational delivery of major transformation programs.
  • Proven experience of driving operational excellence in an operational environment.
  • Leadership and managerial experience at a senior level.
  • Ability to bring thought leadership to the area.
  • Proven ability to develop, coach, and motivate people.
  • Understanding of marketing-led/consumer brands and the importance of customer experience.
  • Ability to work in a service-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of driving security compliance to agreed standards.
  • Organizationally savvy and understanding of the political climate of the enterprise.
  • Ability to balance long-term and short-term implications of individual decisions.
  • Ability to apply multiple solutions to business problems.
  • Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
  • Understand and speak the language of the business.
  • Influential in the organization and a team player.
  • Effective at driving short-term actions that are consistent with long-term goals.
