Job Title: Head of Operations Delivery

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations Delivery to lead our technology domain team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operational delivery, service acceptance, and managed services tendering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Delivery of Technology (30%):
    • Lead the operational delivery of technology services, ensuring high-quality outcomes and customer satisfaction.
  • Service Acceptance/Readiness (30%):
    • Develop and implement service acceptance criteria, ensuring all risks are owned and mitigated to meet requirements.
  • Managed Services Tendering (30%):
    • Lead the managed services tendering process, ensuring effective partnerships and operational excellence.
  • Service Operations Strategy (10%):
    • Develop and implement a service operations strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

Requirements:

  • Clear experience of technology domains, with knowledge of technologies, frameworks, and standards.
  • Experience of managing service delivery in a multi-partner/vendor environment.
  • Leadership and managerial experience at a senior level, with strong stakeholder relationship management.
  • Ability to bring thought leadership, decompose problems, collaborate, deliver sound decision-making, and communicate effectively.
  • Proven ability to develop, coach, and motivate people, recognize gaps, and build plans to develop capability.
  • Understanding of marketing-led/consumer brands and the importance of customer experience.
  • Ability to work in a service-oriented environment and understand the end-to-end workings of the business.
  • Demonstrable experience of driving security compliance to agreed standards.
  • Organizationally savvy, with an understanding of the political climate of the enterprise.
  • Ability to balance long-term and short-term implications of individual decisions.
  • Ability to apply multiple solutions to business problems.
  • Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
  • Understand and speak the language of the business.
  • Influential in the organization and a team player.
  • Effective at driving short-term actions consistent with long-term goals.
