We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at an SEN School in Batley. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people with SEMH difficulties and be able to effectively manage a class and lead learning with groups of pupils.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing support to children and young people with SEMH needs
- Leading learning with groups of pupils using appropriate strategies to enable them to settle to learn
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
Requirements:
- GCSE English/Maths at grade A to C or equivalent
- Specific training in interventions/SEN/SEMH
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
