Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Firmware Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing complex firmware designs for Radars and Electro Optics Groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop firmware designs for complex systems
  • Manage development activities through project and engineering lifecycles
  • Deliver final solutions with high-quality firmware
  • Provide technical guidance on FPGA design and verification techniques
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering with a specialism in FPGA techniques
  • Strong technical skills in firmware development and FPGA design
  • Experience in managing development activities and project lifecycles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
