We are seeking a talented FPGA Firmware Engineer to join our team at Leonardo UK Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and verifying firmware and digital systems using FPGAs.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing high-performance digital signal processing solutions and real-time systems for avionic sensor systems.
  • Collaborating with software, electronics, and systems engineers to ensure smooth integration of firmware components.
  • Writing efficient, reliable, and maintainable code using hardware description languages (HDLs) such as VHDL.
  • Gain experience in simulation, debugging, and testing your designs in laboratory environments.

Requirements include a minimum of a 2:2 Bachelor's, Integrated Masters degree, or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline. Additionally, you must be eligible for UK security clearance.
