Overview:

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced hardware design engineer who can contribute to the development of advanced electronic systems using FPGAs. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of hardware description languages (HDLs), including VHDL, and experience working with real-time systems, digital signal processing, and firmware design.

  • Design, develop, and verify firmware and digital systems using FPGAs
  • Collaborate on high-performance digital signal processing solutions and real-time systems for avionic sensor systems
  • Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable code using HDLs like VHDL
  • Gain experience in simulation, debugging, and testing designs in laboratory environments
  • Implement and verify FPGA firmware for complex embedded systems
  • Document and present design solutions and progress to stakeholders
  • Work closely with software, electronics, and systems engineers for smooth integration of firmware components

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • A minimum of a 2:2 Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field; a Master's or Ph.D. is preferred

  • Basic familiarity with HDLs like VHDL; training will be provided
