Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Global Business Development - Agriculture to join our team. As a key member of our commercial leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships in the agricultural sector. Your expertise will help us expand our reach and impact in key markets, while ensuring the successful launch of our innovative agricultural solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and revenue in the agricultural sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and licensing agreements.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch new agricultural products and services.
- Collaborate with our R&D team to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers and the market.
- Develop and manage commercial plans, including pricing, sales forecasts, and market analysis.
- Manage and develop a team of business development professionals to support our growth objectives.
- 10+ years of experience in business development, with a focus on the agricultural sector.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships.
- Strong understanding of the agricultural industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competitor landscape.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese a plus.
