Main Duties

  • Developing and implementing care plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Registered Nurse (Part 1) - Active NMC Registration.
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant health-related subject (or equivalent experience).
  • Pertinent postgraduate diploma (or equivalent development/experience and a willingness to undertake appropriate postgraduate diploma-level study).
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding Adults/Children, including the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
  • Knowledge of quality and service improvement methodologies, e.g. Bronze IQT.
  • Able to demonstrate sound knowledge of NMC Code (2015).
Desirable Criteria

The following qualifications and experiences are desirable:

  • Teaching qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Recognised management qualification.
  • Understanding of wider nursing and healthcare-related agenda.
