Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Sous Chef to join our team at The Pheasant Hotel, Kelling, Norfolk. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding food experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and implement menus that showcase fresh, seasonal ingredients.
  • Liaise with suppliers to source high-quality produce and maintain excellent relationships with local farmers.
  • Lead a team of chefs in maintaining the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and improving food quality and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • A passion for using local, seasonal ingredients and creating innovative dishes.
