Our client is a globally recognized leader in the Engineering/Manufacturing sector.

Job Summary

As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for meeting the operational needs of the leadership team and colleagues, instilling best practice HR practices and behaviors consistent with the company values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the GM onboarding and take an active role in the development of a high-performing leadership team, proactively partnering with managers to coach and develop leadership skills.
  • Deliver and embed core people initiatives into the business, contributing to and participating in initiatives and projects at Group HR level.
  • Plan and execute operational and strategic HR activity – performance management, remuneration, talent management, recruitment, inclusion, engagement, global grading, and HRIS.
  • Provide advice to senior management on HR policies and procedures, employment law, and support/counsel management in the practical application and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide line managers with advice and practical support in respect of performance, behavior, capability, and managing more complex ER cases.
  • Work effectively with a shared HR administration team and central Group HR Functions, while working as part of the EMEA region within the Global Supply Chain division.
  • Lead the union relationship management in partnership with the UK Supply GM and Ops manager.
  • Partner with the GM and leadership team in driving a High Performance Culture and CI mindset, where all parts of the organization can feel included, valuable, and engaged.
  • Embrace new digital HR systems, identifying and deploying better ways of working in the future.


The Successful Applicant

  • CIPD Qualified
  • Strong track record as a HR Manager and Business Partner, preferably within a Global, matrixed Manufacturing organization.
  • Broad knowledge of HR best practice, including Employee Relations, Engagement, Reward, Resourcing, Talent, and Development, Coaching on Leadership, and Employment Law.
  • Change management experience and ability to deliver and support organizational change.
