This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the world\u2019s most renowned cultural institutions, the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, to build and maintain relationships with donors and supporters in the USA.

As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for managing the servicing, growth, and development of the American Friends of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields. This will involve stewarding and renewing existing donors, re-recruiting lapsed donors, and developing and cultivating the prospect pool to recruit new donors.

You will also be responsible for processing income and ensuring data is logged accurately and appropriately. Additionally, you will develop partnerships that enhance the brand and profile of AFASMF with the intent of broadening the audience and the donor base.

Key responsibilities include supporting tours and projects in the USA with events, face-to-face stewardship, and donor care. You will also support the CEO and the Concerts Team in developing the \u201cresidency model\u201d in the USA.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Managing the servicing, growth, and development of the American Friends of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields
* Stewarding and renewing existing donors
* Re-recruiting lapsed donors and developing and cultivating the prospect pool to recruit new donors

**Essential:**

* At least two years\u2019 experience in fundraising
* A pro-active, target-driven attitude and the ability to work independently
* Well organised, able to work to multiple deadlines and to prioritise efficiently
* Strong attention to detail and an engaging and compelling presentational style
* A valid passport and the ability to travel

**Desirable:**

* An interest in classical music and the ability to champion the work of ASMF
* Experience in working in US fundraising
* The ability to work with senior stakeholders independently

**Benefits and Terms:**

* Salary £32,000 per annum full-time

* 12 weeks\u2019 notice, first three months probationary
