Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Team Lead to join our team at Outdoor and Cycle Concepts. As a Retail Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail staff and providing exceptional customer service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of retail staff and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and customer engagement.
  • Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide coaching and training to retail staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure a safe and compliant working environment by adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling and payroll.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail leadership role, preferably in the outdoor or sports industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to lead a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.15 per hour (£9.85 for under 21's).
