Tribunal Support Specialist Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tribunal Support Specialist to join our SEND Tribunal Team. The successful candidate will provide vital administration and support to the team, ensuring the smooth operation of our tribunal services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the SEND Tribunal Team, including handling queries, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with Tribunal Officers and other teams to ensure the efficient handling of SEND Tribunal appeals.
  • Use IT skills to provide reports, analyze data, and maintain accurate records.
  • Organize and prioritize workload to achieve deadlines, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Deal with sensitive and confidential information, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Requirements:

  • GCSE level (Grades A-C including English) or equivalent NVQ 3.
  • Proven IT skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience of working in an administration environment, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to provide reports and analyze accurate data.
