Specialist in SEN Support

Academics is seeking a dedicated SEN Specialist to provide individualized support to students with special educational needs. As a SEN Specialist, you will work closely with teachers and the SENCo to implement targets outlined in pupils' Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 support to students with special educational, social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties
- Implement strategies to support students with Autism, such as TEACCH
- Champion inclusion and promote participation in learning and social skills activities
- Utilize positive anxiety management strategies to create a nurturing environment
As a SEN Specialist, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for students. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs, we encourage you to apply.
Please note that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
