About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to join our team at Fleet Tutors. As a SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one and small group tuition to students with complex needs, including autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and dyslexia.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tuition that is designed to engage, inspire, and teach students with complex needs.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with students' guardians/teachers to ensure their academic success.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance through our virtual learning platform.
Requirements
- Must hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
- Must live and be eligible to work in the UK.
- Must be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
- A commitment to safeguarding.
- Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.
