Administrative Manager sought by Smile Education in Smethwick, where staff and pupils value dignity and respect, and equality of opportunity is paramount.

About the Role:

This administrative manager will play a crucial part in supporting the school's financial management, ensuring the smooth administration of budgets and finances.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

With a focus on providing excellent support, you will be working closely with the Business Manager to deliver high-quality financial services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Business Manager in administering the school budget using the Financial Management System.
  • Reconcile all bank statements in FMS and School Fund.
  • Bank all income, including School Fund, and ensure accurate accounting.
  • Account for School Funds and related financial records.
  • Administer supply and overtime claims, and monitor absences.

Smile Education offers a chance to work with a Crown Commercial Services approved supplier, alongside a team of education experts who specialize in working with local schools.

We are committed to safeguarding children and expect each applicant to undergo compliance checks, including DBS and qualification verification.

Estimated Salary:

£38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
