Pursuing Excellence in Roads Policing
Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Constabulary is committed to delivering a high-quality service to the public, and we are seeking an experienced Police Constable to join our Roads Policing Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality and effective public service across the road network and within our communities.
- Work as part of a team to provide twenty-four hour cover responding to incidents across the strategic road network and within districts, supporting local policing.
- Investigate potentially complex serious injury and fatal road collisions, and use intelligence to target both RPU, Force and local policing nominals in respect of both substantive and specialist offences.
- Develop specialist skills through training and maintain those skills through regular use and enforcement, in order to provide a range of support to colleagues and the public.
- Promote public confidence and satisfaction through high-quality victim-focused investigations and the effective communication of our work.
