Responsibilities and Requirements

The Sales Consulting Manager will be responsible for providing presales support to prospective clients, acting as a functional and technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants, and performing needs gathering and requirement analysis for prospective customers.

The ideal candidate will have 7 or more years of relevant software technology sales experience, with a strong understanding of the industry and acumen. They will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including needs analysis, value positioning, business justification, closing techniques, and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide presales support to prospective clients.
  • Act as a functional and technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants.
  • Perform needs gathering and requirement analysis for prospective customers.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality standard ITC presentations and demonstrations.
  • Maintain opportunity updates within our internal sales force automation system.

Requirements:

  • BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
  • 7 or more years of relevant software technology sales experience.
  • Prior experience in sales, sales consulting, or software consulting.
  • Proven track record of increasing deal size and accelerating the buying process.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year.
