About the Role
Career Connect is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Careers Adviser.
As a Trainee Careers Adviser, you will play a vital role in supporting 16-18 year olds who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) to identify their career ambitions and move into fulfilling training and employment opportunities.
You will work closely with colleagues in partner organisations to help improve outcomes for young people, engaging with them directly, as well as their parents/carers and a range of professionals from support services, training providers and employers across the city.
To be successful in this role, you must hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification and have relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting young people to identify their career ambitions and move into fulfilling training and employment opportunities
- Working closely with colleagues in partner organisations to help improve outcomes for young people
- Engaging with young people, their parents/carers and a range of professionals from support services, training providers and employers across the city
- Providing careers support and guidance to young people

- A competitive starting salary of £26,262 per annum, increasing with successful completion of your 6 month probationary period and again once you have completed your qualification with us
