Job SummaryClinical Assessors play a vital role in helping the Department for Work and Pensions determine eligibility for benefits. Your primary duties will involve carrying out assessments via telephone, video, or face-to-face interactions. This requires active listening, asking insightful questions, and producing factual reports based on your findings.
To excel in this position, you should possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Your ability to engage with diverse individuals, including those with mental health conditions, is also essential. Additionally, you must be proficient in using IT systems and have a strong foundation in relevant healthcare disciplines such as nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, or paramedicine.
