About the Role

The Consultant Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for providing clinical, professional, and strategic leadership in developing and maintaining high-quality psychology services for older people within the acute pathway.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain systematic, high-quality, and comprehensive psychology services for older people within the acute pathway.
  • Represent the profession in local policy fora and liaise with commissioners and others concerned with determining service provision.
  • Work collaboratively with the locality senior leadership team(s) and specialty clinical network to enhance and evaluate the psychological care offer for older people across acute inpatient wards, respite, and urgent care services.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £75,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A relocation package is available for those meeting criteria.
  • Flexible, part-time, and job-sharing requests will be considered favourably.
