Clinical Educator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a tenure track faculty member in the Institute for Physician Assistant Education at Widener University. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching foundational sciences and/or healthcare education, with a minimum of 3 years of academic teaching and research experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and teach courses in the PA Program
- Ensure courses and syllabi are current and available to all students
- Demonstrate competency in teaching as evidenced by supervisor, peer, and student evaluations
- Participate in team and/or interdisciplinary teaching
- Participate in curriculum development
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of at least one area of physician assistant practice/scientific knowledgebase
- Knowledge of working with an interprofessional healthcare team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduated with a master's degree from an accredited college or university
- Earned doctoral degree from an accredited college or university
- Academic teaching experience minimum 3 years (5 or more years preferred)
