Job Responsibilities
As the Ward Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Establishing and maintaining effective communication with patients, relatives, and carers to ensure their involvement in treatment decisions, planning, and care delivery.
• Maximising the best use of clinical resources, monitoring and evaluating patient flow, admission and discharge planning, and initiating improvements.
• Managing and ensuring patient records are maintained and monitored in accordance with the Trust's data collection policy and procedure, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
• Excellent leadership qualities and the ability to act as a role model for the nursing team.
• A broad range of clinical experience, including speciality experience and knowledge.
• Experience in staff management, able to persuade, influence others, and handle conflict.
• Completion of the Trust's toolkit competencies within the allotted timescale.
